You will depart comfortably from your hotel in Moscow on board a comfortable car or mini-van in the company of an English speaking guide.

What is the Golden Ring? The Golden Ring is one of the oldest routes in Russia located north-east of Moscow forming a circle encompassing many interesting ancient Russian cities along the way, rich in history and architecture of the XII-XVII centuries.

The "classic" itinerary (counterclockwise) starts from Moscow and passes through Vladimir, Suzdal, Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Rostov Veliky, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Sergiev Posad. All cities and towns are relatively close to each other and form a real ring; from one place you can reach another and make a circle until you return to the starting point.

Why go there? This trip is ideal for those who wish to learn about Russian History, Architecture, and life. The itinerary of the Golden Ring is known for the famous and ancient towns met along the way, characterized by: ancient fortifications (Kremlins), ancient white stone churches, bell towers, and monasteries. If you stop in lively Moscow, the mini-tour of the Golden Ring represents a small break from the hustle and bustle of the Russian capital to discover the more peaceful life in the Russian countryside, not yet westernized.
